  Dan was so helpful, informative and courteous in helping me disperse of some jewelry and coins from my mother's estate. Settling a parent's affairs and parting with their treasures is so hard, but he made it is as easy as possible. The price offered exceeded our expectations and I got an excellent lesson in value, care and what to look for when purchasing or collecting. Thank you so much!

  I think this is mostly a guns-n-guitars sort of place. Brought in sterling silver jewelry to sell. Not a good experience. While the lady at the jewelry counter was very nice and pointed me at the line, the gentleman that looked at the jewelry (1) asked me to price it for him without weighing it (at 33 rings, I guesstimated $2 each or $60 as a rock bottom); (2) referred to the rings as "silver scrap", which is fine, but then he DID NOT WEIGH THEM; and (3) offered me all of $10. Since I'm aware that I can sell them for "silver scrap" in Portland (for silver weight, which is why I was shocked he didn't weigh them - and why $10 was insulting), I left. Not recommended.
